ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Shenandoah's #1 Single Church on Cumberland Road

When country music lovers talk about the greatest groups in the genre, Shenandoah is always at the forefront of any discussion. Fueled by Marty Raybon’s distinctive vocals and the band’s skilled musicianship, Shenandoah became well known for delivering such hits as “Two Dozen Roses”, “Church on Cumberland Road” and “Next to You, Next to Me” as well as such achingly beautiful classics as “I Want to be Loved Like That” and the Grammy winning “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart” duet with Alison Krauss.

Today that legacy continues as original members Raybon and Mike McGuire reunite to launch a new chapter in Shenandoah’s storied career. It all began when the guys got back together to perform a benefit concert for a friend battling cancer. “We saw how folks reacted,” Raybon says of the response to their reunion. “And then Jerry Phillips, son of legendary Sun Records producer Sam Phillips, said ‘You guys need to make a run at this. People still love what you do. You can tell by the reaction. There’s a lot of excitement in the air.’” [read more here].

We are very excited to welcome back the unbeatable energy that is Mustang Sally!

When you attend a Mustang Sally show, you are transported away from everyday life and into the world that Mustang Sally inhabits: a world where dancing on the bar is encouraged, and spontaneity is king. People are transformed from spectators into participants through interactive songs both edgy and poignant. Mustang Sally has performed alongside high profile names such as Montgomery Gentry, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, and Blake Shelton, in addition to being demanded worldwide as fair and festival headliners, receiving a standing ovation at the Kickin' up Kountry Festival in Thief River Falls, MN, and playing to sold out crowds at the Havelock Country Jamboree in Havelock, Ontario.

They routinely perform over 200 dates a year, and have toured the U.S. from coast to coast, as well as Europe and Asia. The ladies have also been featured in Country Weekly Magazine and gave the magazine staff a private concert. “We enjoyed the hell out of the girls,” were the words of Larry Holden, Editor in Chief of Country Weekly. “What great gals—to go along with amazing vocals, outstanding lyrics and one of the tightest bands on the planet.” While the music of Mustang Sally appeals to all ages and walks of life, the girls take particular pride in writing songs that “tell it like it is” for women.

Mustang Sally's dedication to their fans can be seen at every show; post-show autograph lines often look more like family reunions as the ladies joke and catch up with returning audience members.

Lead singer Tobi Lee puts it best: “We have the best job in the world, and without our fans, we wouldn’t work!”

Kevin Sport grew up in the small town of Greenville, Al and started singing and performing when he was in grammar school. His love for music and entertaining lead him to Nashville, TN where he worked as a songwriter and demo singer for two different publishing companies. Kevin experienced performing not only in Nashville but New York City and was on his way to seeing where his dream would take him. As life unfolded Kevin’s first attempt at chasing his dream didn’t turn out like he’d hoped. The stresses of life took a toll and he quit. He threw his guitar under the bed, stopped singing, and stopped writing and pursued another path. What Kevin realized later is at the heart of what he’s doing now. As life moved forward many events lead Kevin right back to the dream that was put in his heart from the beginning. Only this time, he wasn’t turning back. He was going to see it through because he was seeing it through a different set of eyes. Being in the right place is not a destination, it is a journey. It’s all about doing what was put in your heart to do in order to be a part of a bigger story as well as making the world around you better. Kevin is doing this through music and entertainment, and just like you, he’s seeing where his journey will take him.

Kevin's performance of Simple Man at the Spirit of Liberty.

Kevin wanted to produce a brand with this simple message. “The Right Place with Kevin Sport” has on guest who share their talent and/or story in a way that connects. The conversations and moments they share engage the viewer to think about themselves and the people in their life. Through our musical guest or special guest, or live performance, our passion is to not only to leave people entertained but
touched, inspired, and encouraged….Because, “When you are following your Dream, Your God given Dream, You are Always in The Right Place”.

See Kevin on RFDtv every Saturday at 4:00pm on his hit show, The Right Place with Kevin Sport.

JUDGE TALFORD Progressive Americana Music

"Don't Stop Believin"

Every once in a while, a group of musicians will come together and the chemistry will just fall into place. Such is the case with this band from Bell Buckle, TN, Judge Talford Band (JTB). It is the collective goal of the band to make good music that they enjoy playing and that people enjoy listening to. The band takes the listener on a musical journey through time without leaving one’s seat. This is done with instruments that are traditionally considered bluegrass instruments, rich vocal harmonies with influences that span multiple genres, and an entertaining stage show. They have already received favorable reviews from the most important people in the industry, the audience.

The musical style of JTB is a product of the guys’ varied musical influences. With influences including Alabama, Alison Krauss, Dan Tyminski, James Taylor, Delbert McClinton, Dr. John, Jimmy Buffett, Dire Straits, George Strait and The Eagles, it’s no wonder that this band sounds so much different than most traditional bluegrass bands. Although the band does perform several crossover songs, they should not be mistaken for a cover band. Each song is treated to the band’s ecclectic musical interpretation. They have a way of taking any song and making it their own. They also perform several originals written by members of the band, as well as others.

JTB has appeared on several nationally televised shows. The first, “Song of the Mountain,” is viewed in over 190 markets nationwide on the PBS network of stations. Another notable television appearance was on the “Shotgun Red” television show, which is seen on RFD Television. In 2010, the band opened the SPBGMA Awards show. The band was also selected as showcase alternates at the NACA (National Association for Campus Activities) convention. This is voted on and awarded by a panel of college students. 2013 marks the band’s first appearance at Dollywood’s Celebrity Theater, 2014 at Silver Dollar City and Eddie’s Attic and the band released a new album in June 2014.

Judge Talford Band is a perfect fit for your next event. Whether it is a Fair, music festival, corporate function, college or university function, music hall, theater, church, cruise ship or private party, JTB will tailor their stage show to meet your specific needs.
